Hi, I’m Bek!

In Spite of Pain was created for women living with endometriosis, PCOS, and the ongoing reality of chronic hormonal conditions.

It’s a space shaped by lived experience — sharing what it’s actually like to navigate daily pain, fatigue, and the mental load that often comes with it. Alongside that, it offers practical ways to support your body through hormone-conscious choices, low-tox living, and everyday habits that can make a meaningful difference over time.

Living with chronic pain and hormonal challenges has taught me just how confusing and isolating it can feel to navigate our health systems, find reliable information, and make lifestyle choices that actually support our wellbeing. That’s why I started this blog — to offer insight, guidance, and honest reflection based on my lived experience.

So much of women’s health is overlooked, dismissed, or simplified. This space exists to help you better understand your body, feel more confident in your choices, and have access to information that feels realistic, not overwhelming.

At its core, it’s about creating connection, building awareness, and supporting women in navigating their health in a way that feels informed, grounded, and their own.

Why This Matters

Women’s health conditions like Endometriosis, PCOS, and Adenomyosis are consistently misdiagnosed or under diagnosed. This is due to a combination of historical and systemic factors; medical research has traditionally focused on men, gender bias in healthcare leads to dismissal of women’s symptoms, and the complexity and overlap of symptoms make diagnosis challenging. Social stigma around reproductive health and gaps in healthcare education further delay recognition and treatment. The result is that countless women suffer pain, frustration, and preventable complications, often without answers or adequate support.

Every woman deserves to feel informed, empowered, and supported. In Spite of Pain is here to guide, encourage, and show that you can reclaim your health and your life — even while living with complex hormone conditions.
